Fund Distribution
When possible, research grant funds should be issued directly to an institution because they are subject to different rules. Isssues arise when funds over $600 are written out to an individual, as that becomes taable income that would need to be claimed.
For project funding, NSGC should pay vendor's invoices directly when possible, or volunteers should submit an expense reimbursement form and receipts directly to the SIG staff liaison, who will process this reimbursement.
