Complaints against an NSGC member (a “Respondent”) may only be submitted by (i) an NSGC member in good standing; or (ii) a member of the NSGC Executive Office staff (a “Complainant”) who reasonably believes Respondent to be in violation of the Society’s Policies.
Complaints must (i) be submitted within one (1) year of the occurrence of the alleged violation; (ii) be submitted in writing to the NSGC Executive Director via the complaint form below; (iii) be signed by the Complainant; (iv) include a detailed description of the alleged violation as well as specific references to the activities or conduct supporting the complaint; and (v) include the Complainant’s authorization to forward the complaint to the Respondent and any third parties that the Executive Director, the Board of Directors or its designees deem(s) relevant.
Upon receipt of a complaint, the Executive Director will refer the complaint to the NSGC President. The President will review the complaint in consultation with the Executive Director and NSGC legal counsel and determine whether formal consideration by the Disciplinary Committee is appropriate.

Note: Complaints that are not in compliance with the Society’s Policies or Disciplinary Procedures, or which could not be the basis for disciplinary action by NSGC if proven will be returned to the Complainant and will not be considered.
