Learn More About the New CPT® Billing Code
The new genetic counselor CPT® code, 96041, goes into effect on January 1, 2025. The NSGC Access and Service Delivery (ASD) Committee has added new educational resources, including a detailed FAQ document, for members to NSGC.org. To access these resources, visit the 2025 Changes to CPT® Billing Code page and click “Additional Resources for NSGC members” (login required).
Additionally, the ASD Committee is hosting an informational webinar for NSGC members on Tuesday, November 19 at 1:00 pm CT. To register, log in to your NSGC account and visit the CPT web page for members and click the registration link in the “Upcoming Webinar” section.
2024 NSGC Annual Business Meeting

This process, formerly known as the Call for Speakers, is the primary method for selecting the educational content that will be presented at the NSGC 44th Annual Conference. We've listened to your feedback, and this year's process is now simpler than ever before! Submit a session proposal or provide a nomination for the 2025 Janus Lecture by January 31, 2025.

J.E.D.I. Spotlight
NSGC Websites for Patients Now Available in Spanish
NSGC’s patient-facing websites, AboutGeneticCounselors.com and Find a Genetic Counselor, are now available in Spanish! Refer Spanish-speaking patients to these websites to search for a genetic counselor, learn more about genetic counseling and reasons to see a genetic counselor, and prepare for an appointment.
